| This large 18' x 60' movie backdrop was created for a movie filming locally in Vancouver. The process started with Colorific shooting the desired skyline from the top of a building in downtown Vancouver. To achieve maximum quality, we shot 8x10 transparency film with multiple exposures at different times of the day. We then prepared the film for neg outputs and for printing in our darkroom. Having large format darkroom printing capabilities allowed us to print with less panels, less seams and more image area. To ensure that this backdrop will last for years to come, we also used our protective heat matte lamination. |
